Czechia is a country in Europe. Its capital city is Prague, the official currency is the Czech Koruna, and the main language is Czech.

With a population of roughly 10.5 million people spread over 78,867 kmยฒ, Czechia is the 88th most populous country in the world and the 115th largest by area. That works out at about 133 people per square kilometre.

Czechia shares land borders with Germany, Poland, Slovakia and Austria โ€” 4 neighbours in all. Its largest urban centres are Prague, Brno and Ostrava. The highest point in the country is Snฤ›ลพka, at 1,603 metres.

For scale, it covers almost exactly the same area as Panama, while its population is closest to that of Azerbaijan.
