Egypt's population is roughly 3× Morocco's.
Egypt has the larger population by a wide margin, concentrated overwhelmingly along the narrow, fertile Nile corridor that holds the vast majority of the country's people on a tiny fraction of its land area. Morocco's population spreads more evenly across a country with an Atlantic coast, a Mediterranean coast, and mountain ranges high enough to support skiing within a few hours of the Sahara.
Both are Arabic-speaking-majority countries with their own regional identity — Egypt culturally tied to the wider Middle East and the Arab world's most-watched entertainment industry, Morocco part of the Maghreb alongside Algeria and Tunisia, with a strong Amazigh (Berber) cultural presence alongside its Arab heritage.
